confused with self metre reading

Hello, I am trying to do a metre reading but a little confused.
We are on a rate where we are charged different in the day than at night.
On the website, it says on our digital reading panel there should be a LOW and a HIGH figure. On ours, there is 1 and 2. not Low and High. there is also another number with no number labelled on it (this number is a lot lower than the other 2)
As an example
1 reads in the 85 thousand mark
2 reads in the 40 thousand mark
and the one with no label reads in the 29 thousand mark.
I am a little confused on what to submit!

The reading which shows on the meter in the daytime will most likely be the day reading, proberly rate 1. the curser or number should flash showing it to be the reading currently in use. the one with "no label " will be the total of the two0

On mine as 'sacsquacco' says - RATE 1 is the day [expensive] rate, and RATE 4 is the night [cheap] rate. Look at your account online or paper /email bill, one number will correspond to 80k+ the other to 40k+.
You will see mine has the luxury of a white sticker clearly indicating which is which ................

.................. if you are not sure do as I suggest and see which number corresponds to which before committing yourself. Hope this helps.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion.
