hello, does anybody have a template-type thing of what to have as your defense against the banks defense (if that makes any sense!?)? ie what to say when confronted with the bank's standard defense?

any help gratefully recieved....thanks in advance...

It's called a court bundle, there's a template for it on the CAG website.

You don't have to respond to the bank's defence (other than to supply missing documents/facts) when they submit it, that is what the court hearing is for.
Hamsters have no tact and diplomacy, nor do they want any.

my personal view is that judges asks for A/Q hearings as a view to speed things up for the claimants cause they know that banks don't show and wastes courts time...........hope i get one;)
  • hi sarah lou

has the date yet been set for the allocation hearing? i only ask because i too was sent a similar letter, setting the date of the hearing for 15th june, and i too began to get a tad concerned. however, yesterday i received a letter from hsbc's solictors offering me a full settlement. seems they got concerned too! the bank will doubtless try to hold onto their money for as long as possible, but should (hopefully) crumble at the last moment. fingers crossed for you!
