Bus Lane Penalty Charge Notice

Hello,

There is a bus lane on one of the main roads in Bradford and I drive up this road every day coming home from work. I NEVER go in the bus lane but instead sit in traffic for 20 minutes while others do.

The bus lane closes at 18:30 and I've today received a Penalty Charge Notice for being in the bus lane at 18:28:27. I remember the day in question and can say with absolute certainty that the clock in my car was 18:30.

This is an honest mistake and I would never knowingly drive in the bus lane as this is a serious pet hate of mine that other drivers use it.

I've never even had so much as a parking ticket and I'm actually quite devastated that I'm being fined for this

I am planning on appealing the Penalty Charge Notice but does any one have any idea of what the chances of being let off are?

Any help at all would be appreciated!!

Who is to say if your clock is set accurately or not? Of course on the other side of the coin is the Councils clock correct?

If you take advice from pepipoo forum, your chances of winning any appeal against a Council ticket are over 90%. ALWAYS APPEAL with pepipoo help.
