I do lots of little sites, I know cally has posted a link to all the different sites she uses somewhere around here, I would suggest having a little look as people get a bit loathsome to post the same information over and over again xThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. I would stay away from CantBeatFree if you haven't already joined. The admin of the website has gone AWOL and is not paying members or answering emails.
My top tip for surveys would be -
Create a new seperate email address to be used solely for survey websites
Be careful to read the small print and tick boxes when doing any offers that require your mobile number
Be very careful doing download offers as some companies will put adware, malware and virus' in the files
Hope this helps, happy to send referral links to people if you want them,0 -
I'm on Maximiles and have recently signed up to Ipsos.
Quite like Ipsos - they send me free things to test!0 -
Would agree with DavetheGeordie that you can probably make around £1K a year, doing surveys if you put some effort into to it. If you do focus groups you will probably make another £200-£300 Agree that it can be like slave labour, so its best to use sites which pay a reasonable amount and dump those which are clearly abusing the participants. The lists that Cally have put up seem pretty spot on. The key is to join a number of sites and build up your money across the various survey sites - some sites you end up with a flood each week and then nothing for a couple of weeks.
I treat it as a 'hobby' which pays me to do other things. I reckon I spend about 1.5 hours a day during the week and never at weekends as the higher paying surveys tend to get filled quickly and you are left with rubbish surveys.0
