Virgin Hols price up by £200 in one week!

We have picked holidays to Florida from 5th Oct to 19 Oct flying from LHR(indirect) and the price was about £780 per person at Rosen Point Inn, that was last week.
We wanted to go to Virgin shop to book tomorrow but the price went suddenly up by £200 per person for same dates and hotel.
I must say I'm really devastated!:(
Is this normal? I keep thinking it must be mistake.
I checked prices of flights separately, and they did not go up by £200 so why the increase?

Prices can change all the time. Rule of thumb is, if you see a price you like book it and don't look back.0

so why the increase?
Demand probably0 -
Do you think there is any chance it might go bit down? Or will it just creep up?
Have you ever seen price to go down?Best wins ever:

You really don't know
If they have put the price up because they see demand and that demand peters or doesn't materialise, they may put it down again.
If the demand goes up, they may put it up more0 -

No problem. I joined a couple of months ago and already have over 2000 air miles just from bits and pieces of online shopping. That's not counting the ones I've just made from booking my holiday.
Make sure you look at the list of who you can earn miles with - it's everyone from Tesco, to hotels, airport parking, Boots, banks...loads of places. It's free to join and worth it for the holiday discounts alone.
