Debt Relief Order Help
Options
Hi all
I recently yesterday had an appointment with Step Change and they are sending me out the necessary paperwork to file for a Debt Relief Order one for me and one for my partner.
The problem I have is the wages, I gave them a rough estimate as I've never done this before and didn't know how accurate it needs to be, obviously with a DRO you need to have less than £50 a month which I always do but my budget may not reflect this now because of wages me and my partner get a different wage every month we don't do set hours so basically what I need help with it how do I work out an average on both of our wages? As I think I may have done it wrong lol. How many months would I need to do it over? As I don't have all my payslips.
Thanks

No expert sorry but I would look at my latest payslip and see what number pay month you are in. Some work January to January and some April to April. If its april then you should be in pay month 2. Just divide your net pay by 2. If its Jan to Jan divide your net pay by 5. This will give you an average. Not very accurate tho if its only 2.0

Am still confused who is a maths genius on here who can work it out for me lol0

Do you have your last three payslips? Add them up and divide by 3.
