If you all fancy a relaxing day by a huge paddling pool, with boating, playpark, small flower gardens, etc etc theres Markeaton Park on the outskirts of Derby - fabulous when its a hot sunny day.

Alton Towers only 35 approx mins away,
Sudbury Hall Museum of Cildhood is jolly good as well.
Sudbury Prison for a nice meal (Made by and served by inmates..!!),
