About 5% of PWC's are male according to the official CSA stats.

How about naming and shaming the criminally incompetent CSA workers who cause everyone, NRP's PWC's and most importantly, our children, so much hardship, poverty, stress etc, in the first place?

That would be a good start!!

It would be a good idea yes, if it was them that were making the decisions, but the "workers" are just drones who work in the call centres, and just go off what the computer in front of them says. It's the decision makers at the top that need to cop for it!! Also if deadbeat NRP's are going to be named then so should the bitter PWC's who refuse contact for no good reason at all, be "named and shamed" as well!

What does naming and shaming really accomplishes? OP, you say that your ex's clients would be mortified if they found out what he does, but for one, would you contact them and tell them to go on the website? It's not that much more of a step of contacting them and just telling them. Then what? For most, business is business and unless he provides a very personal service, they are unlikely to care much about his personal life if they are happy with the business they are receiving, that is if they even want to believe the allegations.

My ex doesn't pay maintenance, I just don't have the heart to fight it because my children have more to lose than gain if I did. I can afford to provide for them without him, and the way he would react if I did fight would only end up making their visit unpleasant. Yes, it is unfair, especially when he manipulates the children, but that's how it is. They will one day be parents themselves and I'm sure they will then understand clearly how their father took the easy road to parenting.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned that the CSA did used to name the NRP's (male) on the website, however on the counter someone had set up a counter site which named the PWCs that were claiming, ths was about 5 years ago obviously it has all stopped now, or not so public as before.

Yes,I cant think what it would achieve. The deadbeats couldn't care less or they would be supporting their children anyway and there is a great chance that somebody caught up in the CSA processes by the pwc not being exactly truthful. Their complaints procedure takes an age which could leave to some jumping of conclusions.Children get their self esteem destroyed by the vilification of a parent, however bad they are they are still their parent, and to see this in print somewhere maybe their friends might see could only add to the distress.

Funnily enough I did a search and found a US website called 'deadbeat dads' but there doesn't seem to be anything like that in the UK. While 'naming & shaming' him would have to be a last resort, I think it only fair that other mums like myself should be able to grumble about failed CSA cases and name the fathers who have failed to contribute to their children's upbringing.

Funny enough, I could not find one for "deadbeat Mums". Do they not exist or is it that they just don't count?
