Not at all. Take a look at the thread title - it asks "Please feel free to let me know if I am being unreasonable..." and I am offering an opinion.

Now tell me exactly how your post is anything other than useless trolling? It makes no contribution at all. Duh.

Nah, sorry pal, not having that.

Your overwhelming contribution to every thread ive seen you in is to have the polar opposite view to the general consensus - its lazy, predictable old fashioned trolling, looking to get a reaction from those who dont know better.

    Try a bit harder, yeah?

Reading back thru his posts, one thing which confirms your view it seems to me is this
Thankfully you're disregarding the more rabid suggestions made in this thread by the so-called well-wishers, several of whom sound as if they have an axe to grind.

Because I certainly haven't seen anything from others which could be desribed as "rabid", and it would be far-fetched indeed to conceive of why several people would have an axe to grind against one local professional when (apart from 1 individual) the chances are that most of them live nowhere near and have never heard of the firm.

I suppose I should have expected this.

First things first, your overwhelming contribution to the thread topic is zero. Pot, kettle black.

If the views I have expressed are the polar opposite to the general consensus it's because of one or two things: 1. I see the issues differently; or 2. The general consensus is just that, lots of people saying the same old thing so that they feel part of the "solution"

You, on the other hand, have offered nothing which, to use your words, is lazy, predictable, old-fashioned.

    Try harder eh?

And here we have one of the 'general consensus' with no perception whatsoever that a wider principle has been discussed.

    Gawd.

Sorry mate - you can huster and bluster all you like but you made it too obvious. Laughably contrary posts in every thread, coupled with a disproportionately vehement defence of these opinions made you stand out a mile.

Register a new username and try to be a bit more subtle perhaps? If you're going to troll at least be original - deliberately disagreeing with everything to get a cheap reaction is pretty low grade stuff.

Perhaps you would be kind enough to explain that "answer" (including highlighting anything I've said that could possibly be construed as part of any "consensus. If you take the trouble to read my other posts more carefully, you'll also see that I'm well aware of the "wider principle"). Nuff said, off out, I'll leave you to it!

OMG I've just realised I'm assisting you with your trolling. Hang on, I get it now...you troll everyone..... Nice comeback brains! You appear to have the same bitter, spiteful chip on your shoulder as kitschitty

Cripes, haven't we all got enough problems up against and coping with dodgy agents, tardy solicitors, rogue builders and the English system of buying/selling houses generally, without having a go at each other? :D Basically, we're on this forum cos we're helpful people, and/or seeking help in the nightmare process, not cos we enjoy warfare!!

People are generally getting ruder and less patient from my own experience. A sure way of getting a less attentive service.

In other words you have no real argument to offer, and have just proved Sinbad's view that you're a troll to be correct.

I see there's an 'ignore' function on this site, so I won't have to waste any further time seeing your posts.

Unfortunately, many supposed 'professionals' just aren't competent or well motivated enough to do their jobs properly I've found, and greater time and financial pressures all round these days just aren't conducive to the kind of 'gentlemanly' way in which business was more frequently conducted a few decades ago. We're all running like crazy just to stand still ...

Little would be served by explaining your shortcomings to you. Nor would the possibly resultant hissy fit :p.

Sinbad has been rumbled as the real troll (why don't you check his previous posts for confirmation?) and, as his supporter, I can understand your embarrassment.
