Luton Airport.....

I recently received out of the blue a letter from Roxburghe claiming over £100 for an unpaid ticket that had been sent to me.

I immediately rang them to find out what it was about as I had never received anything previously relating to the alleged incident from anyone.

They kept repeating that I had been sent something and I kept repeating that I have never received anything and that I wasn't going to pay anything for something I didn't even know about.

To cut a long story short I contacted Apcoa direct and explained that I had never received anything and could they tell me what was going on.

They have now sent me details of the original letter and said 'Apcoa does not accept liability for any post being lost or misplaced by Royal Mail or being ignored by the recipient' and suggested that if I have any issues with post I should contact Royal mail directly and said that they suggest I contact Roxburghe to discuss the matter!

Presumably I equally don't have any liability for mails that were never delivered (and by the way Apcoa confirmed that they don't send anything registered/recorded so there is actually no proof it was ever sent in the first place let alone lost or misplaced). Is everyone in the country supposed to go to the Royal Mail and ask if they haven't delivered something they weren't even expecting?

This is wrong on so many levels I don't know where to start.

Any advice anyone?

Yes ignore them, why on earth are you even speaking to this company or their scumbag debt collectors? They have zero powers to enforce anything without it going to the small claims, and they win . This is not going to happen. So ignore them and Graham White Solicitors when they write, they are in fact Roxburghe pretending to be someone else.

Google 'Roxburghe Graham White letters' = all a big scam. People have ignore this letter chain for many years; laughed at them and there are threads everywhere!

Google 'APCOA fake PCN' and see this was never a parking ticket. Stop phoning APCOA or their agents.

Read the current parking forum; any threads about ANY private parking company (PPC) on page 1 or 2 of this very forum. You'll soon see why you didn't need to take this rubbish seriously, even if you HAD got a fake PCN! You are too late for appealing and POPLA unless APCOA offered a POPLA code in their latest letter. Therefore you ignore the scam.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
