how to waterproof a pocket

Hey all, my friend needs an urgent waterproof pocket to put his electric key into while surfing tomorrow. Any ideas, please? No time to go to shops!

Could he put it in a (preferably unused) condom and tie it round his testicles?

The condom is actually a good idea, isn't that what the SAS use? Not sure about the testicles bit though lol, although if he could put his key in the condom, knot it carefully then tie it round his neck with a piece of string and tuck it inside his wetsuit, that might work ...

Call me stupid if you like but can't he leave it with someone who isn't surfing? Or in the car? Or at home?!

failing that, the condom idea is quite a good one but I bet a balloon would be thicker and less likely to tear, not being built for increased sensation or anything! :rotfl:

Hee, hee. I love the way you lot think. Anyway, he didn't go this morning after all. Unfortunately, his key is attached to the electric fob thing, so he'd have to take it with him as he was surfing alone and driving to the beach. He's my DH's best mate who I don't know that well yet (he and his wife live away), so while the condom thing might have been suggested, tying it to his testicles probably wouldn't have been!:o Thanks for all your suggestions! Stars the lot of you!
