Thanks for the heads up here, I went to Wilco and stocked up, was like a child in a sweetshop, had to try and be restrained.

Ended up spending about 33 quid or so and got the following:

Wherry Kit
Golden Ale Kit
Velvet Stout Kit
Spraymalt x2 (1 med, 1 light)
Brewing sugar x2
New Hydrometer
Trial jar
Bottle brush
Steraliser
Gervin yeast

Well happy with that for the price, just need to decide if I should get more or not!! eek!

Thanks to the original poster.

Went to Wilkos in Huddersfield today to collect the £10 wine starter kit I ordered and also left with plenty of beer and wine kits :beer:
As other posters have said, I must now resist buying more

Hi did you add extra sugar to your black cherry one? Do you need to add extra yeast with the extra sugar, hubbie complaining he likes it stronger.

How much longer would you ferment, sorry for the twenty questions but just want to be organised when I do the Merlot kit.

I've done the Cabernet Sauvignon today as per instructions, do you use a hydrometer to check?
