Nah, I used to do this all the time but at 12% strength it's not going to taste that good. Wine has to be at least 13-14% for me.

I bought it for the equipment so I can try my own flavours out of fruits and stuff as I'm new to all this and if it is not my thing its not expensive to try.
I tend to drink 12% in shop bought bottles as I'm a lightweight :D

It has good reviews on Wilkies.

I've used flavoured tea bags instead of these syrups.

The wine making kits that are 1.7kg and dont immediately indicate 30 bottles are cheaper at £14 halved to £7.
They appear to be the same.

This is an excellent bargain because Wilkinsons probably sell the cheapest home brew equipment as it is without the 50% reduction.

    Great find, clairibel.

Just add some vodka to your glass of wine. You won't notice a small amount taste-wise and the alcohol content will be at least what you're looking for.

It was my OH who saw it instore and then I checked online, He knows its something I really want to try to do but did not want to pay loads of money out. He went and bought a few more demi johns and bits instore yesterday too.

I don't think there is much left online tbh.

My mums also bought a set

Wilkos have 50% off all home brew, not sure how long it's going to last but got some real bargains in store today ie: coopers beer kits for £6.50

I think they are restocking as I ordered some beer kits yesterday and wanted some brewing sugar and light golden lager kits, but they were both OOS. had a look today and they were both available.
Also received yesterdays order this morning.
