Please Can Someone Check A Website For Me

Hiya,

I'm from the comps forum and I checked on a website to see if there was a new competition and it started going mad at the bottom of my screen, it kept saying something like...

waiting for ......

(like it does when a site is loading), only the stuff it was waiting for was !!!!!! or !!!!!! like stuff. It's just a normal website but I ran adaware and am in the process of a virus scan.

Can anyone with a decent better equipped computer than mine offer to check the site for me to make sure it is behaving, otherwise I have to get back to the comp forum and remove my post.

Hmmm, I dont like that link. Its trying to download data/cookies from many other sites other than itself. thats why the progress bar takes an age to complete. My pop blocker also blocked it.

I havent had any !!!!!! popups etc but thats most likely my security software blocked it. Its def trying to load from all over the place.

Thanks I thought so, I had a pop up blocked but it still had all this downloading stuff going on. I'll see if I can notify them somehow, it doesn't normally do that, just today :rolleyes2

When you click on the link, on the bottom left side it goes through a whole load of sites which have nothing to do with its saying "downloading from". Looks like the page has been hijacked.

Yeah that was where I saw the thing that had a suspect porno name I've sent an email to them via itv website so hopefully it will get to them.

If that site was hijacked, does that mean my / our (someone else accessed that site today too) computers will be ok?

EDIT: It was ok except for some of the usual spyware
