We live live in an older house and invested in a Dehumidifier .

A good investment. A bit noisy at night so we put it on a timer.

    No problems now.
Can you run it OK in a bathroom? We'd have to have a wire running under the door, from the airing cupboard ... and it would be within splashing range of the shower!

We have one too. I wouldn't have it in the bathroom, too risky imo. It sits in the hall just outside and it goes on after we come out of the shower.

Our Shower room is upstairs and the dehumidifier lives on the landing, hence the timer.

That way it will not cut in during the night and put the fear of God in you.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

Thanks. Not going to be very easy to put one outside: there are steps up to that bathroom ...

I need to go and a buy a soft scrubbing brush with a long handle, I think! And some sugar soap ...
