Reimbursement from Ryanair

On the 22nd of March this year my wife and I were on a return flight from Mercia to East Midlands, due to severe uk weather conditions our aircraft was delayed in arriving at Mercia. It did arrive and very quickly we departed Mercia. In the latter stages of the flight we were informed by the flight deck that East Midlands was now closed due to snow and that we would now be in a holding pattern until we were accepted by an alternate airport. Eventually Birmingham accepted the flight and we landed, however we were advised inside the terminal by a Ryanair Representative that due to the severe snow that there no buses or coaches to transfer us to East Midlands, however taxis were running and that Ryanair would reimburse our costs on production of a valid receipt, we sent the receipt to Ryanair on the 26th of March and do date we have had no response. We had to get to EMA as that was was where our car was parked. Any suggestions would be appreciated

I don't think there is any debate that you are entitled to this reimbursement. You are probably going to have to chase them

did you send recorded/keep a copy of the receipt?

If you take them to court you may have to take advantage of the Irish legal system.
