Help Needed on ... Getting A New Boiler

Hello

Can anyone advise on How to get a New Green Boiler??

I called up when I saw the advert in a daily newspaper

I even told the adviser I spoke to I could prove my earnings with a P60 but was told that I had to be in receipt of benefits before she could take my call any further. :(

My problem is I do not get any benefits even though I only work P/T. I have a 4 year old son I watch 3/4 days a week and because I used to get WTC before for the 3 boys I had when I was married. I was told that they over paid me and I owed them a few hundred pounds that I could not afford to repay. Now I don`t receive any benefits and my 15+ year old boiler is playing up.

Anyone advise on anyway to get round this??

Get a local gas registered person to service the boiler.
Any savings made from a new boiler are likely to be very small.

The Green Deal (if that's what you are referring to) is no a route to a free boiler. It's a loan scheme for a package of green measures and you pay it back via your utility bills-with interest.

You may be thinking of the boiler replacements being conducted via the Energy Company Obligation. If so, then the adviser was correct, someone in the house needs to be in receipt of (at least) one of several qualifying benefits in order to be eligible for the scheme.
