This day is just getting better, had an email from Top Cash back saying that the £30.30 I earned for signing up to Weight watchers for 3 months (total cost to me £3.20) has been credited to my account. Very handy as I just realised that my sons language tutor wasn't paid last week so I had to give her double tomorrow & my weekly personal spending money was going to be £12 lighter, now it is £18.30 better off. I might be able to buy a new mascara after all instead of licking the brush on the one I have now. :D lol

Busy weekend, wedding reception Saturday (overspend due to needing an outfit & OH needing a new suit, so 200 down on the budget but hoping either ppi payout I am due OR boot fare money will cover it) fingerscrossed.

Sunday spent emptying out the storage space under my mums house for her move, spent £13.50 on way home on porridge pots for next weeks work breakfast & dinner for us tonight, this came out of my weekly spend budget so on track.

Upside of all this activity, found under the house: 2 kids bikes, 3 kids ride on toys, a huge bag of playmobil people, a wooden garage & cars, a box of dinosaurs & some other kids toys, all to send to the boot fare next weekend.

This was all stored in 2009 & never taken out. I also found a "missing" box of my art, photos & vases which I hadn't actually remember I had, we stored them in 2009 before we moved overseas for a year & a box of my late dads photo negatives. So will be fun going through them to see whats there, thankfully as an amateur photo there is a negative viewer too :)

Hoping to limit my spend to £20 or less for the rest of the week. I have a hospital appt tomorrow but have enough on my Oyster card to cover the bus fare so any additional spend will be on lunch food & the daily treat I buy my boy on the way home from work.

Hope you all had a good weekend & stayed on budget.

    Here's to a new week.

Hope your hospital appointment goes ok tomorrow quidsy! I'm [STRIKE]hoping[/STRIKE] going to do much better with my budget this week. No frivolous spends. Being in work will help, as I won't have time to make any big spends. The downside is the lure of the shop on my way out to catch the bus home. I like having a choccy bar to much on, on the way home!:D

Hospital appt this morning, went off without comment, got to work at lunchtime so bought a M&S soup on the way in.

    Total spend today = £2.99

Got a call from OH at 4pm, son has been sick on way home from schoo, well technically as he walked out of school, he tried to run for the toilet but didn't make it, giant pile of vom in the hallway! So no school for him tomorrow, thankfully my mum can have him, as a self employed I really can't afford a day off, so to nannies he will go.

    Fun times.

Poor wee mite, hope he feels better soon! Yay for nannie's though! Feel a bit sorry for the cleaner at school when they find the sick lol :rotfl:

Cheers Eyebright, he apparently vommed in the corridor & the teachers who look after after school club had to clear it up!! I might sent them some nice bikkies for their tea when he goes back in tomorrow.

He went off to my mums for the day, he was quite happy about that, he has a snotty nose & is a bit warm, not fever but not well, so will let him enjoy today off then back to school tomorrow. I am not a soft mum when it comes to time off. :D

Today I plan of having lunch in the canteen at work, I have £7.50 on my canteen card so will spend that rather than come out of weekly budget. I have around £17 left of my personal budget which is plenty, I might even have some left to roll over to next week.

    Spend today = £5.29

Eye drops for my son who has a mild eye infection. He is over his stomach bug but his eye has been red for a couple of days so took him to pharmacy this evening, was on track from a NSD but I can swallow the cost for the boy :D

I finally managed a NSD today wohoo! Only took being a hermit to achieve lol.

Oh no, poor wee man! I used to get recurring conjuctivitis when I was a nipper, it was horrid. Hope the drops kick in soon, well worth the pennies though!

I've run out of moisteriser. I have rummaged through the box of "spare" cosmetics but there is nothing doing. I will not live with dry skin so I have to buy some today. I have around £9 left of my weekly budget & the brand I use is abt £4 so that leaves £5 left till Friday. eek!

OK, my good luck streak is still going. :D

I received the ppi I was waiting for from Lloyds today, well, part of it, maybe. I have 2 ppi claims with them so today I have been credited £2,300 so not sure yet if this was for both or just one. I need to wait for paperwork.

£1700 was earmarked for flights to visit the outlaws but the remainder is going towards debts so it looks like both Next AND BC can be cleared this week.

I need to mess around with the numbers a bit so will update my sig once it is done but yay for me. Fingers crossed for euromillions of Friday :D
