We've exchanged! At last!

I know it doesn't seem bad at all, offer accepted 15th March to exchange 6th June to completion 5th July but it felt like an eternity! Thanks to all posters who replied to my cries for help at times, I took all your advice on board and, in fact, probably wouldn't have a completion date now if it wasn't for that advise, so a big thank you to all that contributed. Myself and my partner can't wait to get the keys to our first house!

We did the same - offer accepted late Feb, exchanged the 7th and completing the 26th. All been pretty stress free!

Wow I wish I was so lucky I had an offer accepted on the 18th March and not even close to exchanging at the moment. Although there's been a complication in that they converted the loft space with out actually extending the lease to the loft space but that should all be resolved this week and hopefully it will start moving quicker now!
