Thanks sloppy chops. Very mixed reviews and 4* not worth thinking about according to those sites.

Well we thought about the Theraputic Spa Bedrooms, well at least I did ;) but at a cost of nearly £1100 for three days plus flights it was slightly excessive I suppose :D :rotfl: . OH definitely not agreeing to that so we are off elsewhere! lol

Just need to find cheapest way to park car at Gatwick now :).

Are you still planning on going to Malta or are you changing destination altogether?
If you are still wanting Malta try Preluna Hotel and Spa in Sliema or the Victoria Hotel also in Sliema.

These are just links to their websites to have a look at as its normally cheaper to book elsewhere.

Also try doing it DIY (seperate flights and hotel) as they usually work out cheaper.
If you need any help just ask.

Thanks sloppychops. Apparently 7th June is a bank holiday over there and lots of hotels booked BUT we have got into The Hilton. Quite happy aobut that as we went to the Prague one last year and was very pleased. This apparently is supposed to be better. OH has booked executive room for us - so some consolation for not having a Theraputic Spa Bedroom  :D !

Just went to book airport parking, decided to check which terminal before pressing button - whoops! North not South  :D . Having a good day so far! lol

Sloppychops, I wondered if you were able to give me some advice please. I am having a strange holiday in Malta, travelling Sat, spending until Mon am at the Riveria Resort (which according to some reviews is a really bad idea!) and then going to St julian's for a wedding before heading off with friends to Gozo until Friday. On Friday a friend flies in until Mon morning and we want a girly weekend, chilling out, not particularly interested in partying, but would like somewhere nice to stay and relax, and have some good food, that isn't too expensive. Do you have any thoughts please? Looking at several sites I was wondering about the Corinthia? (But I thought the Riveria looked good until I saw the reviews, so I probably know nothing!)
Any advice would be gratefully received. I am also going to be spending Friday before she arrives looking for a little place to buy, so that I can head over every month or so and do some diving. Anywhere you'd suggest buying? I would like somewhere quiet preferably, and am not interested in a pool so I can rent it out.
    Thanks very much.
