i personally dont belive most of the anti ryanair brigade, its all hyped up nonsense, regular travellers like myself know different, i have had a bad experience once, that didnt stop me getting a near perfect service the rest of the times

for gods sake what do people want for those prices

I think you're being defensive, no-one on this thread is knocking Ryanair! But I could find you plenty that do if you want to stand up for them ;)

Given that this is the MONEY SAVING EXPERT's website, how many would just click through to a Ryanair offer without checking other options first?

You keep feeling sorry for them, right now the men at the top are gaining an extra £500,000 a week on interest alone.

Dont worry about them. You should have come on here saying 'how else can we save during the flight' instead of their poor share holders.
Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"

re: sam bee, yes i agree perhaps a bit defensive on this thread, but i have to say i think your post sums up the nonsense/hypocrisy that gets posted about ryanair

" i have used them several times never had a cancellation and encourage everyone to jump on the ryanair bandwagon cos of the exceptional 2p deal " says you sam bee

but then you make a comment on how your morals wouldnt stretch to buying a scratchcard or a drink because of knowing about their corporate and social responsibilities

    yeah right

I see no issue? The vast majority of threads on this board about Ryanair complain about their lack of transparency, an issue that can't be denied.

Why should I encourage this by buying their extras which are fundamentally more expensive than I can buy elsewhere?

That's why if I buy flights for £0.02p return, I pay Ryanair £0.02p. I certainly don't give £1.20 of the £1.40 for that can of coke that was half price in the terminal, 30% of the car hire which I pre-organised cheaper, or 98% of that 'charity' scratchcard. I'm a passenger on a flight, not a poxing charity raising funds for Michael O'Leary's rant account. I'll pay them 2% credit card fee as that's a legitimate cost (with the usual Ryanair padding).

If Ryanair ever raise the cost of the flights to reflect their true cost, well, we'll all re-assess our options then. In the meantime jump aboard.....

the issue is about how your morals concerning ryanairs corporate and social responsibilities which you know about, allowed you to board the plane but stopped you buying a can of coke.

i agree with the original poster who said why not book extras at no more cost if you can through ryanair, like terravision coach service which is the same price via the ryanair link than direct with terravision website

    whats wrong with that?

no-one suggested buying a can of coke, or did anyone say they felt sorry for ryanair or worry about them

twisting the original posters post just to have another pop at ryanair is about the norm it seems on this forum
