Organising Ipod files

Not an Ipod person, so hoping someone can help me with a friend's query. Double CD musical has been copied onto Ipod. However, in the process, the order of play has changed. Not a problem when listening to a list of random pieces, but when the music pieces are written to tell a story in a particular order, it makes the music hard to listen to.

Is there an easy way of re-organising the play order on the Ipod, or perhaps a method of ensuring that the files are added to the Ipod in the correct order.

Hi,
Open iTunes, holding the ctrl key select the tracks, then click file.
select New playlist from selection.
this will then appear on the left, name it as appropriate.
Click on the file on the left eg leaving the main library.
To put the tracks in the required order, left click (hold) & drag to the required position.

Then update the ipod manually when connecting in future.
