Washing machine transit bolts

Have to agree it seems bit bonkers to pay to take it with you, when they're cheap there.
Maybe you moving expenses are being paid for by your company? Anyway, have you tried looking on ebay, you never know?

I have taken the same attitude with most of the stuff in the house...its not worth taking most of it.
But I have to draw the line somewhere. I cant afford to buy all new over there.
I will be sharing a container with relatives, so the cost to transport it has halved to around £1500.
The washing machine costs about £450...to sell it here would only get me about £200 if I'm lucky. and machines are supposed to be more expensive over there.
When you consider the value of the items were are taking set against the replacement costs...its definitely worth taking them, even taking removal costs into consideration.
Think of my tools for example. I'm taking 5 tool cases plus electricals. If I sell them here I would get peanuts for them on a boot sale. They must be worth around £5000 to buy new.

Good afternoon: Best of luck with your move down under...you're spot on...have to be rational about what goes/stays. We spent a month in NZ two years ago and checked out the cost of appliances etc. We've been talking about moving to Canada in the next few years so have been considering the same issues.

Did it come with a plate as well ?
I'm sure the bolts will fit, but I had a metal plate on mine, whats the plate for ??

Yeah Rob it is, but here's another little topper for you...
We can't get spares here for machines sold in, say, France.. or Germany... or Italy. This is because the manufacturers often don't supply out of territory, so Zanussi GB only deals with GB sold appliances, but it from another state and, tough, they don't want to know regarding it as not their problem.
We ship parts to NZ quite often and it ain't cheap.
If you're gonna be there a while I'd suggest buying locally.

Hi Rob,
I've checked, and looked at the instructions. Mine only came with 4 huge bolts with red washers that were fitted at the back of the machine. No plate. Sorry.0
