Unbelievable, so the ferry service will be a virtual monopoly with P & O controlloing affairs (DFDS cannot compete).
The three ex SeaFrance ships were really nice, so if this goes through expect P & O to let their standards slip even further.

Sometimes the competition commission go completely off their rocker don't they. This is clearly complete madness, especially as myferrylink have been offering very competitive fares.

I can half understand why. They are suggesting myferrylink could peg the ferry price quite high so as not to compete with eurotunnel. P+O would not need to beat them by much to compete.
By having 3 competing operators,prices could maybe fall.

Mostly French crew so they'd probably be on strike soon anyway.
