If your charity operates a "shelf life" policy (item on shelves for x weeks/months then passed to another shop or recycled) you could buy those items when they reach their sell by date.
Impartiality should precede loyalty in your situation. Buying from other shops means no-one can accuse you of taking the best stock for yourself.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
