    That is just another typical Private Parking Company empty threat in an attempt to bully you into paying. While they could in theory apply for a Norwich Pharmacal Order what they forget to mention is that it would cost them thousands of pounds to obtain such an order & they are not able to reclaim such costs. No PPC has ever used an NPO as it is by no means certain that they would even be granted an NPO in the first place as it's a sledgehammer to crack a nut & certainly doesn't make economic sense as they cannot recover the costs of obtaining an NPO & it would also mean a full blown County Court case rather then small claims track.

    There is a good discussion here on NPOs

    You are under no obligation to provide them with details of the driver & they have not provided a code to take the case to POPLA as they would be bound to lose.

    You will not be responding to that drivel, which is what I expected them to say.

    Remember you said in your very clear letter that 'You must now take the matter up with the driver and I will not enter into any further correspondence nor discuss who may or may not have been driving on that occasion, since I do not have to help you in this regard.'

    So just file (keep) all the letters from now onwards and if you fancy making some complaints with the various authorities mentioned later on - once you have received some scary debt collector letters - then you can do so. Wing are very ignorable (obviously if they decided to issue real court papers you would have to respond but not otherwise). You do not have to tell them who was driving at all and if you Google 'Norwich Pharmacal Order' you will see how often that threat has been laughed at before.

    PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    No need for google :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
    We don't need the following to help you.
    Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

    UPDATE - the 35 days are up and no POPLA code received.

    Soooo - do I just write back to them on the lines of saying saying that they are in breach of BPA CoP (again) and that the invoice is considered cancelled, therefore they should not communicate with us again on this matter?

    Thanks all!
