Equifax ignoring help requests about linked address, help
redonion
Equifax have been ignoring my request for how to correct an incorrect linked address. They won't tell me which company the address came from, for example.
There's no phone number listed except one that says it's only for questions "about Equifax products". I'll try that one today, but I'm not expecting success.
Do they give you a phone number if you sign up for their "protection" scheme (a telling name, I suspect)? Has anybody else had success with this kind of thing?

I've just had the same. I asked a question about an incorrect linked address and my reply was some spiel about linked accounts and searches.
My reply to that was rather stroppy, along the lines of - "there are no searches as this address because I have never lived there, there are no accounts at this address because I have never lived there, there is no negative information at this address because I HAVE NEVER LIVED THERE"
Low and behold, yesterday they removed it.
