Hi,
I bought two items from Amazon and want to return them. Amazon link for return via Yodel collections does not seem to work. I cannot find how to return package via Yodel website. Previously returns via Royal Mail have been trouble free.
Anyone ever used Yodel return service? Can you link me to web page to book a return or do I have to phone 0800 0152 662? Thanks :A
Similarly, Amazon do not make it easy to complain. Anyone have an e mail address for them?
I am very disappointed with Amazon and Yodel. This experience may prevent me using Amazon again.

if you go through Amazon's help screens, you'll find an email address.0

I had problems returning to Amazon via Collect+ the other day. I kept getting an error message so I tried a different browser and it worked.0

I got a response from Amazon offering to arrange pick up by City Link. My complaint:May I ask why you changed from Royal Mail?
You must realise it is very inconvenient for me (and others?) to wait in for 8 1/2 hours for Yodel / City Link who are notorious for not turning up on the specified date.
If this is the standard one may expect from your new(?) delivery service, then I shall be shopping elsewhere from now.
They gave what I consider to be a satisfactory response:I'm sorry for the issues you've in returning the items in your order #XXXXXX as you need to wait for Citylink to collect the item.
I can understand your concern in using Royal Mail to return these items instead of using Yodel/Citylink and please allow me to clarify.
I would like to inform you that the selection of carrier while trying to generate a returns label is an automatic process and we are unable to select a specific carrier for return.
I'm sorry that you disapprove this feature as this option is currently unavailable; however, There are possibilities that these features may be changed in future.
Despite these reasons, I can indeed understand this is disappointing.
Alternatively, one option available would be that you can return the item through any carrier of your choice to the address on the returns label and we will be happy to refund the return postage cost."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Readers who dislike waiting for deliveries by Yodel / City Link / Hermes may be interested in this > http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hp_492868_top_lrk?nodeId=200966210"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

I had to return a failed kindle to Amazon and unfortunately they chose to use the dreaded yodel. After waiting in for 10 hours one day, before yodel denied that a collection had ever been booked, (despite copious evidence to the contrary) I had a hissy fit with Amazon and returned it by Royal Mail the next day, to their credit Amazon refunded the postage immediately.0

In the end I phoned Yodel and got authorisation to take parcel to the Yodel Depot. Inconvenient, but a better option for me than waiting in for an unreliable courier.
I then got another message from Amazon telling me when delivered by courier their new "improved" system does not allow one to choose any other option but return by same courier. To their credit, they did say if I preferred to send by RM and they would refund the postage."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi
