Thanks for that, but what I'm saying is that in my team, when I've called HR because a member of my team has phoned in with a child-related emergency, they have been allowed to take it as parental leave. One particular person would have been stuffed if they'd only been allowed 2 days!! Anyway, my point was that this leave should not be counted in the Bradford Scale. What your HR do doesn't change the law. If they wish to accept it as Parental leave then thats upto them.Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0 -
