I'm glad our post op patients are doing so well!

Jackie I think I would feel the same as you. Your daughter is probably so focused on the thought of the operation she can't see past that. It's good to know she cares for you so much. I'm waiting on a hysterectomy and a lot of my F&F are worried about me having the op, they can't see that I need the relief of the operation.

TTFTM well done on the weight loss. That's brilliant!

Final work on my presentation today. I've got it all researched, I know what I want to say, it's just a matter of putting the final bits together and then making a few slides for the power point. I've decided just to chat my way through and then put quotes ive referenced and legislation etc onto the slides. I don't think I've ever been so nervous.

I've got a few extra hours today. DH took DS2 to school and there's a Stay and Play session at school today. An extra 75 minutes at school for just £1. Bargain :rotfl:

    Morning Halight and all,

Glad all the poorly peeps are feeling a little stronger. Molly hope all goes well for you today.

I slept better last night than I did the night before. I only woke up twice instead of the previous night when it was on the hour every hour.

Usual chores to be done as well as chasing up 'Youngest's' tutors at college. Apparently he's got an exam next week that the students haven't been equipped for (equipped as in taught in class).

    Chores for today:
    [STRIKE]Bedding changed and laundered[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Kitchen floor[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Vacuum downstairs[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Bleach wash the side of the house[/STRIKE]

Tea will be pork chops I think.

Have a good day all. Pity the sun has gone in though.

Glad to see our two hospital escapees are doing well - just remember to take it easy though, no running before you can walk! ;)

TTFTM good news on the work front, well done.

Tenyearstogo sounds like you have prepared well, good luck.

My Mrs has been in such a good mood since the holiday, the chillax has done her the world of good.

Weather here is fantastic again today - in 20'sC (and forecast the same through the weekend) so people are in happy form.

Have a nice day everyone.

    Morning all (Just!)
Have to go to a meeting at the home about great aunt this afternoon, she has been deteriorating a bit mentally and at times shouting at some of the other residents, and they have hinted about moving her into their specialist dementia unit, which is in the same building and has a far higher staffing ratio, we have no issues with this, but Social Work will have to pay extra, so we will see what this afternoon brings. Not sure if she has had a new social worker allocated, the last one was a numpty but discharged her from her case load once she was settled in the home.
Other than that not a lot planned, contents of house washed and dried yesterday, still waiting on today's update re MIL's sister.
Hope all poorlies are recovering at a gentle pace, hope transfusion goes well Molly.
Right, better organise something to eat, have a good day all!

    Evening all
    Halight, take it easy.
Molly hope the transfusion works well.
    Hugs to everyone in need.
I went to work today, attended my meeting, it lasted an hour, nothings been resolved but I have said I won't sign my job description as it is. There is a new system of PDR's starting in September, so nothing will be done 'til then, so it's a case of wait & see.
    Hugs Hester

No blood for me as too many antibodies to cross match.

    Tomorrow - Hopefully x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
