When i gave up driving my Cab i asked the insurance company what would happen about my NCB as i intended to go back again once a medical problem was solved. They said in a couple of years i could ask for it back again, i wouldn't lose it.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

You're husband and wife. Insurers are fine with the main driver being different to the RK in this situation.
Swap names on the insurance every year to keep your NCB alive. Don't swap them on the logbook!
And for those asking why you'd do this. Even if you never intend to have two cars ever again. It's also a backup NCB in case you ever have to claim!0
