trying to plan a route with my tomtom 1

hiya

im going to butlins at skegness tomoz im trying to plan the route as I know which way i want to go i just want my tomtom to keep me on track.

can I do this ?

Im not sure about the tom tom one but with version 6 I have an option to change the route, either by the planning settings quickest, shortest avoiding motorways etc. I know other ways so if tom tom plans to go a route I dont want to take you can use the plan alternative and avoid the road it will take you down.

Another thing that is on tom tom 6 I can do advanced planning where it will show me the route it will take it will also demo the route etc.

Another feature is itinary planning where you can set multiple destinations or stops for a route in advanced and when your ready just go and run the route.

An up to date tom tom one should have version 6 so I would expect them to be on there but I do know that there are a few options that are not available in the GO's that are on the PDA versions.

Tap "Navigate to..." -> "Address" -> "Postcode".
Type in PE25 1NJ for Skegness.
Tap "Done" and let it calculate the route.
Click "Done".
Click the screen.
Click "Find Alternative".
Click "Travel via..."
Select the place you want to visit and it will be added to the route!
