Not happy with the service I am receiving from this company after a girl who ran a red light causing us to crash is now saying I ran the red light! I have requested that the company look at the junction where it happened as they would clearly see I would have hit another lane of traffic before hitting her, but they will not due to cost, which means I have to pay my excess and my premiums will go up! If they would just look at the actual junction and how the traffic goes instead of using google maps (of still photos) they would see that. And it would all be sorted, but this company seem to not be bothered and happy to settle knock for knock, which I am not! What can I do?

Knock for knock hasn't existed for years.Kirchoff81 wrote: »but this company seem to not be bothered and happy to settle knock for knock, which I am not! What can I do?
Why don't you go and video the junction and talk through it. Stick it on youtube and send them a link.0 -
Often if you approach the local highways agency responsible for the traffic lights at the junction they may be willing to email you details of the sequence of the lights.
Don't expect that the insurer will just roll over even if the light sequence supports your argument. Insurers are organisations devoid of common sense.0 -
