how can i claim my ppi back but havent got a policy number

a company called finance direct sold me a policy through another company called adminicle.i have the paperwork to back this up but do not have a policy number off adminicle.as of now both companys no longer exist.ive tried ringing the phone numberfor finance direct but to no avail.can anybody help.thanks

You dont need the policy number.as of now both companys no longer exist.
The only company thaat matters is finance direct. If you bought after January 2005, you can refer your complaint to the FSCS.
