My stepson and his wife want to spend about 5 days in the Lakes in July,
then want to spend another five days in Las Vegas end Nov beg Dec, can anyone recommend sites that I can look at for them to get the best deals.
Your help is much appreciated

Dont take this the wrong way but you are much better off saving up for longer and going to vegas for a longer period of time, there is so much to do there, by the time you've got over jet lag (and heat exhuastion) you will be on the flight back. It can honestly, and I mean honestly, take you a day to walk round 1 hotel. and there are dozens you have got to see. Plus downtown, plus the grand canyon. At least 10 days are needed.
I went for 9 days and felt like I had only touched the surface so 5 days would be a waste of time and money. IMO0 -

Do they realise just how cold Vegas can be in the winter months? We have just recently returned from two weeks there and I totally agree with ajtrader, it wasnt long enough for us, however, def must is New York New York to see the duelling pianos. If they are planning on the Grand Canyon check out Papillon tours we did champagne breakfast beside the colorado - fantastic. A really nice place to stay is The Golden Nugget up on Fremont Street, we had a walk around there and they've just had a major refurb. The Casino has been very tastefully done to suit her era and the public areas are fantastic. Also another good one we looked at was Silverton, just south of the strip. Great price coz not on the strip, trolley bus to take you as far up as Fremont Street and the Suites - to die for. Hope any of that helps and hope they have a great time.

It puts me off posting.
Ive thought of Las Vegas for a short break but after reading the advice on here I think if I ever to get the OH's go ahead I'll save and go for a bit longer

The link I posted on here is for a lasvegas value thread that has been running for a while and has over 500 posts on it.
There are so many links in that thread that almost anything you want to know about Vegas will be found in that thread or via a link.0 -
