Accepted an offer last friday , have provided my brokers details and solicitors , have had absolutley nothing on paper regards the offer yet , should i be worried ?
More concerning is we had a letter from the EA today confirming our rejected offer for a place we liked , made on monday afternoon !

Lets just say when we got the letter with the EA stamp on it , we assumed it would be the memo !
I assume it means the buyers are dragging there feet providing solicitors details ?Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0 -
Sorry to bump this , post has been , and again no memo of sale , even though the EA sais sales `details` were being sent on Monday....have called and the guy is out and emailed..but no answer yet
Should i be worried or do these things take ages ?Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0 -
I think it depends on the agents, if the agent is a national chain then they sometimes get the memo of sale sent out from a central office, this takes longer.
Are you sure you buyers have got there solicitor because that could hold it up as well.
I would not fret about it.0 -
Hi
They are a local outfit.
The agent was supposed to put any offers in writing , the buyers of ours and our property are both showing STC on the web etc , trouble is , the EA is trying to get us to a deal on another property on his books , and i wonder if he`s trying to tie up his `chain` before sending us anything....Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0 -
Bit confused. The EA you're buying through is trying to get you to view another property even though you've had an offer accepted on another of theirs?
Honestly, if that's not the case and your offer has been accepted, I'd stop worrying! I don't even remember receiving a 'memo of sale' - probably did each time, but it's never anything I've stressed over.

Maybe their checking your buyers ability to proceed and has the money/funds they say they have, before sending memorandum of sale to your soliciors and yourselves.0
