Manchester airport terminal 1?

Thanks in advance :)

I was just going to ask the very same question. I've never used a lounge before - is it worth it do you think. My flight is at 1300 so I would be going in for lunch

    Thanks

I booked the Escape Lounge in T1 the other day through Holiday Extras.

Their price was £15.83 using a 10% off code - no idea what it was now, just found by Googling. Also got £1.59 from TopCashBack so total price £14.24; I think full price is £17.49?

Note that TCB is meant to only pay 2% if you're using a voucher code, but has tracked at 10% for me so I'm not complaining! Only booked it last week and the cashback is all tracked through and payable already.

This will be my first time using a paid lounge - to be honest I'm not expecting anything amazing but figured I could easily spend £15 on food and a couple of coffees at the airport, plus there's free WiFi so thought I'd give it a try. The menu for the Escape Lounge is available online and explains what you get - it looks better for lunch than breakfast to be honest. I'm planning to be in there from 8:30 til 11:30 so planning on having breakfast then maybe a snack before I leave as the lunch food apparently goes out at 11am. Personally I never drink before a flight, especially long haul, but if you do I think at least some alcoholic drinks are included which makes it pretty decent value. I'm travelling alone though - might feel differently if I was paying £15 each for a whole family.

Hi, I thought it was worth it and we certainly had our money's worth :) I'm sure others would say differently! Nice and relaxing too :)

Hope you enjoy it :)

The escape lounge at manchester airport is very good and worth the money in my view, however I wouldn't bother with the Servisair lounges.

Just looking at the servisair Stansted lounge,

    Lounge facilities

    • Children allowed - Sh*t
    • Disabled access - They have to, quite rightly.
    • Free drinks - This bit's good.
    • Free snacks - This bit's good also.
    • Internet - I've got a dongle already so don't need.
    • Fax - Does anyone still use faxes apart from solicitors?
    • TV - Don't have one, don't need one, don't want to see one.
    • Wifi - see internet above.

So, take a bottle and sarnies any you can save a 35 quid for 2.
Who do you think you'll be sharing the 'exclusive' lounge with
in the middle of Essex?

Last time I went through security at Manchester T1 it took so long there was no time left to go and sit in a room subtly filling my bag with 150ml Coke cans while Mrs o4u updated her Facebook status.
