Hello Techies,
Apologies in advance if this question has been asked before, am a complete technobimbo and therefore need leading by the hand!
Can anybody tell me in plain language, how you insert a link into the written content of a page? (e.g. this transfers you to another site/page .) Hope I'm making myself understood. Also, do these links have a technical reference?
Thanking all you kind and generous people!

Hyperlink in a web page or on the forum? If it's html then it's an anchor situation
