Did the account 'Default' with Orange, or is it 1,2,3,4 on the credit file?

Which lender is it and what Loan To Value?

In your complaint, tell them you want their calls to be listened to from when you made the request. Keep pushing them....fingers crossed for you. I can only imagine how distressed you are with it!

Well after 3 weeks of phone calls to and fro, Orange have finally removed it from my credit file. I ended up emailing the Chief Executive and another email address which was the Executive Officers Group. The person who removed did so in a day so it beggars belief why it has taken 3 stressful weeks to complete the job! Someone from the Executive Group did ring me and apologised but we will be trying to get any expenses incurred back from them! I've completed a new credit check and it came back clean so sent that to the lender. Had the valuation today so will be getting the report back from that soon.

I am reminded of the boy who cried wolf. If mobile phone companies persist in this sort of carry on, most lenders will ultimately ignore mobile phone entries on credit records because the information will just cause administration costs and delays without actually indicating that the people with the blots on their mobile phone records are bad risks. And once this is known generally, no one will bother to keep their mobile phone payment record clean.
You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'
