Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

Possibly, depends on how bad the divorce is. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.....is the property vacant yet?0

not sure , it looks occupied from the pictures , but immaculate , as in , show home , so possibly , its only occupied by one halfNever, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0

Proceed with caution.
If the parties change their minds and decide that they want to buy another property there could be two upward chains. Also there could be disagreement when it comes to accepting an offer.
There was a property that I was watching on RM last year just out of interest as the AP kept fluctuating up and down. It turned out that it was a relationship split and they couldn't even agree on the AP.
There was another property in which we were interested, but then the couple had a 'reconcilliation' and it was taken off the market. Another where we turned up for a viewing and got one of the vendors out of bed (it was a Sunday afternoon but she worked nights). Turned out husband had taken the call from the EA but didn't bother to tell his wife. Property didn't sell. Was up for £250k last year, they tried to rent it, now back on the market for £290k. Madness. It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

*ahem* just thought I'd point out that it isn't always the woman...
My father was the main protagonist in the sale of my parents marital home. He was a nightmare and in hindsight I feel very sorry for the person who bought our old house.
If you are going to proceed, keep your wits about you!First home purchased 09/08/2013

Maybe worth viewing and chatting to the sellers?0

yes , good advice , i think we will tread carefully , its in an area where honestly they go like hot cakes ,and ticks all boxes , though it is at the very very top of our budget , so we need to be absolutley sure , especially as ours is sold and we dont want to hold anything upNever, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0

Viewing tomorrow , its one of those dreadful `offers over` so when a property is new on the market , even if the AP is unrealistic , it might take them a while to realise it (along with the other issues everybody has mentioned)Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0 -
I hate that. Because I'd offer 1p over in that case0

Kind of hoping , all things being to our liking , and all squared away with regards the chain , they would accept a cheeky 205/210 from people as proceedable as us...Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0
