Co-operative Energy Can't Produce New Bill

Hi,
I received a bill from Co-operative Energy yesterday for about £220 using estimated meter readings.
I submitted my own and worked out it would roughly be £380. However I just phoned them up asking if they will produce a new bill and they said no they can't and just to pay what the bill says.
I don't really want to pay more longer down the line. They did say they could tell me the amount I owe but not provide a bill in 7 days.
Previously with NPower/EDF a new bill was issued after correct meter readings were submitted.
Anyone come across this before?

Seems strange but why don't you just pay £380 if you want? If you pay online through your bank or pay at a Post Office you can usually pay any sum you like (whenever you like.) Or make two payments.0

I probably will, but my housemates might get funny if asked for there share of £375 without proof!0

It varies a bit by supplier and/or your reading may have been provided outside of the acceptable time window.
Any correction will be applied toyour next bill.
If you don't want to pay extra next bill as a result, then pay your calculated amount of £380 now0 -
Yes, that's a trickier situation - but most housemates should WANT this and not be opposed to it. In that situation, by default, you should automatically be using your own readings every month and every quarter to be calculating and paying instalments on actual usage - the last thing housesharers want is for one or two to bunk off after winter without paying their share.0

Then pay your share of the extra £160 now, (in addition to your share of the bill) and they can pay their extra when the next bill arrives
...and get ready for more arguments...
Personally, I'd say pay it all now or what the bill says now, if you go paying more then things can get confusing later.0
