album doesnt play on ipod

hello everyone.

My wifes iPod has decided it doesnt want to play one of her albums anymore! Could anyone tell me how I can possibly reload it back on her iPod. Its still in our itunes library.

Do you get an error? Also have you tried removing it from the library and re-ripping it?

apparently it just skips through the whole album?!?!?

HOw can i remove it from the iPod and put it back on there for her. If i get this done soon i can get back to watching the golf! ha ha

First thing is do you still have access to the album? If not then removing it from the library may lose it completely.

Either just search for the album right click and delete all the tracks then re rip to intunes or i think if you enter the album and copy it into you libary it will say something like do you want to replace exsisting tracks (basically the same tracks) click yes and it should delete those and replace them with the re ripped tracks. Hope this helps

Thanks for your replies but i am a little bit stupid and will need my hand holding here! Heres what ive done so far.
Ive connected the ipod to my laptop and am currently staring at the music library where all the albums are kept. The album in question is a lucie silvas album, its one of two she already has on here. Ive highlighted the album that needs replacing.... what do i do now.

Like I said, does she physically have access to the album? Does she still have the CD? If so then you can remove the files completely from the pc and re-copy it. You could also just try removing the album from the library and tell I-Tunes to rebuild the library.

the album was downloaded from itunes. ive just tried playing it on the iPod and it appears to be working okay!?!?! MAybe its tempremental? How do i rebuild the library!
