Renewal of Buildings Insurance

Is anyone aware if there would be anything invalidating my Co-op building and contents cover if I were to take out a new policy with them online rather than renew my current. An online quote comes out at £80 less than my renewal.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Phone them first though as they'll probably pricematch themselves and continuous cover is preferable.0

I will call and try to knock them down again, but why would continuous cover be more advantageous, no claims doesn't appear to give me any benefit, what other benefit is there?
Thanks0 -
One of the normal fraud indicators is how close to inception a claim is registered.
You buy a new policy today and then phone tomorrow to say you have lost your Cartier watch and you'll probably trigger a fraud investigation. You be with them for 10 years and never made a claim but then call to say you've lost your watch then you are much less likely to trigger fraud investigations.
You MAY find some give slight better benefit of the doubt to long standing customers but not massively.
Obviously if you are being honest then the fraud investigation will turn out all ok but it probably will add delay0
