Hi All,
My friend has recently bought a second hand golf from a non main dealer ( I say recently, it was about 5 months ago)
Its a 58 plate, 66,000 on the clock.
The fan keeps staying on when she is driving and is really loud, the garage have said its a wiring fault but havent given her a price yet and still have the car.
How much is she looking at shelling out for this? She just wants to prepare herself!

How longs a piece of string? What is the garage's labour rates £20 an hour or £120 an hour?
Could be a 5 minute job with an 1/2 hour bill or many hours tracing the wiring loom back to find the fault.

Is the a/c on? While it may be a faulty sensor keeping the fan on, some cars automatically kick in the fan when the a/c is operational.0
