My Grandad, aunt and uncle are coming up in August for the Edinburgh Tattoo and a weekend with the family and i have been asked to find cheap flights.
They want to leave Southhampton on the morning of 17 Aug (16 Aug if a problem) and return on 19 Aug again in the morning...
Tried a few sites before i go out and the cheapest i can get for 2 adults and a senior(lol) is £305.88 which i found through Wegolo (whoever they are).Although that is going from Southampton to Glasgow, the Edinburgh to Southampton. The reason i put them into Glasgow is its about £100 cheaper. Prefer flying into Edinburgh tho...
Can anyone get anything cheaper??
Many thanks!

There used to be competition on the Southampton to Edinburgh/Glasgow route !
Now that BA have sold out to Flybe isn't it amazing how much the fares have risen ?0 -
Hi agree with Moonrakerz the price for this route has shot up since BA sold out. There is an alternative, although depends on where your grandparents live. Can fly from Bournemouth to Glasgow Prestwick with Ryanair for £41.58 return however they are afternoon flights. Glasgow Prestwick has its own train station and I think you get half price train fares if you fly with Ryanair.
Good luck0
