Query on mortgage

Hi there,
My partner and I are currently in the process of saving a deposit to hopefully buy our first house together next summer.
The flat we live in at present is owned by my boyfriend, however I have never had a mortgage before.
How will this affect us getting a mortgage when the time comes bearing in mind that I am a first time buyer and he isn’t?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hi there
As your partner already has a mortgage you would not be eligible for mortgage products specifically marketed at first time buyers.
Best wishes
