Morning all,
Was so happy to have my deck complete on Saturday, as a novice i am proud

However on Sunday the wife put weed killer down and watered the grass and what appears to be a little dance on the deck.

So im inquiring how i can get rid of these footprints? Was looking to seal the deck so i can keep the natural look, but open to any options that wont ruin the deck. I have tried bleach on a small patch. Here is a close up picture.

Hope someone can help

was the decking treated at all? otherwise footsteps might be the least of your troubles when it starts to rain!
Personally I like the ronseal deck sealer with the kind of mop applicator. Worked for mine. But couldn't say how to remove those marks i'm afraid0 -

argh! always the way! these things always happen just before you're about to protect them. Good luck hope you find a way to clear it.
could test WD40! it seems to do just about everything else lol0 -
Was it that Granular stuff like Evergreen or whatever it is. It does tend to satin decking and patios. I had this on my patio in the past (More Minor) and didn't have much luck getting completely rid of it. Eventually wore off over time. Good Luck with it..... keep us updated on how you get on..0

Yes it was Evergreen Complete, the back of label does say about staining, but the wife didn't see that part
On another forum yesterday I saw that someone advised using rust remover, for the life of me i cannot find that forum again lol0 -
You'll have to sand it down and then seal it.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Extreme but will prevent it happening again unless you're very unlucky
