can anyone tell me how long it takes to get income support its been nearly 3 weeks now not heard anything

have you contacted them to ask how your claim is progressing?0

was going to ring tomorrow just did nt know weather it does take a while0

depends how busy they are and how complicated or not your claim is0

probably about 3 weeks but just call your benefit centre and ask how you claim is coming along. some have more of a backlog than others.
you can only claim income support if you
are a single parent with a child under 5
or
as a top up to carers allowance or ssp.0
