Mobile Home Holidays in France

I don't expect anyone to know, but it's worth a shot.... In this country we have stayed in numerous Lodges etc (Forest Holidays, Finlake, Campsites) and we usually travel with some grand parents. We have 7 children aged 8 months - 14 yrs and we always observe capacity of accommodation. When we have stayed in these places it is obvious that it wouldn't matter how many of us there actually were in the cabin. For comfort reasons we have not abused this. Many accommodations allow for 8+ infant as baby can go in a cot.
Does anyone have experience of this abroad?
For example, the websites only let me book a maximum of 8, but if we rolled up with a baby too would this present a problem?
I would book larger but they dont have it, and with the eldest being only 14, it is not suitable to book a second accommodation, unless my husband and I stay in different mobile homes :rotfl:
:starmod: I am not that savage :heartpuls But I am a Vixen :staradmin

I really can't see anyone standing outside with a clicker counter checking.
Worth looking at gites, you'll find plenty to accommodate 10+

Where in France are you thinking of? Some sites check as there have ben instances of a couple with two children booking and two families turning up with lots of kids and a tent for children to sleep in!
Away from the tourist traps you should be OK, I can send you details of a few good sites where you should be OK. We are going to near La Rochelle in a couple of weeks so can give up to date info.
Plus if you are crossing with Brittany Ferries PM me for a discount.
