Can I have two RBS credit cards at the same time?

Hi all

I currently have an RBS credit card which I took out last year for the 0% interest on purchases. The promotional period is coming to an end in the next four weeks.

I am paying off the balance IN FULL :money: before the interest rate goes up.

I now need another 0% card to use.

Having researched, the best one for me looks to be the RBS card!

Questions:

1) Can I actually hold two RBS cards at the same time? (I don't want to have to cancel my old card just yet.)

2) If I apply now, will the balance on my existing card (and the fact I've only been making minimum payments, albeit incurring no interest) go against me?

Any ideas?

Suze

If they're anything like NatWest (which they are), then you can hold two cards simultaneously.

Whether they hold your existing balance against you depends on your income, debit, outgoings and other factors.

0% interest offers are often only for new customers, so even if you can get another card, it's unlikely to be 0%, check the t&cs.

Thanks all. Has anyone got two 0% RBS credit cards? I can't see anything in the T&C which disallows it...

The promo offers apply even to existing customers. The only restriction is no more than two cards per customer.

Is one with the good bank and one with the bad bank?
